Would you live in this tiny 560 square foot Riverfront Log Home for 30K?

A popular idea for many young families is that of owning a vacation retreat or vacation log cabin, its easy to imagine summers spent away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a getaway which allows for some needed rest and relaxation, and a place to create family memories. I couldn't help but be intrigued when I saw the plans for "Would you live in this tiny 560 square foot Riverfront Log Home for 30K?", the answer for me would be a simple yes.

Of course if you start to do your research you will be flooded with a myriad of log home plans, log home blue prints, log home cabin kits and log home kits to the point of being overwhelmed. But rest assured just take your time, and if this is something you are really considering, look into all your available options, ask lots of questions and determine what your budget is, and go from there, when you access everything you'll have a better idea of exactly what you're looking at.

Looking at the log cabin kits and plans is just the first part, you'll then have to determine where you are going to build your dream vacation home or cabin. Will it be in the country close to farmland, or beside a river or lake, perhaps you'll want to be in the forest close to hiking trails and trees. Only you know what is best for you and your family, not to mention where you live, this will also determine what is available. For myself the ideal place would be a property overlooking the ocean, but that will come with a higher price, whereas a place within a short drive to the ocean will be much more reasonably priced, you never know sometimes you'll discover a piece of property at a great price, for sale by someone wanting to sell quickly.

Wherever you end up deciding to build, you will discover that building your own log home or cabin takes time and a certain amount of patience, but in the end you will have a place that you can take pride in, as you were part of the process. You can also appreciate all that goes into building a place, and feel pride when you are sitting on your deck relaxing in the sun with your family.
