Have a Look Inside this Shockingly Inexpensive Log Cabin Kit!

Many people are deciding to put in smaller log cabins in their backyards or properties, like this Inexpensive Log Cabin Kit: The 18x13 (5.5x4m) Charentes 44mm Log Cabin. People put them in their yards for various reasons, some use it just for personal use, for an extra storage shed, or a sitting room to read in that is detached from the house. Some people use them as a separate office space, so that they are not in the house working, to separate their work environment from their living environment. Or it's a great way to have an art studio, or a music studio to work in. They can even be used to house a small home gym area.

Whatever you would choose to do with this Charentes log cabin, it would be a great addition to your home and yard. With the nice large windows, eight in total, there would be plenty of nice, natural light coming into the unit. The double doors are also a nice feature that allows nice, fresh air to come in and welcomes the out doors into the space. Can you imagine having a studio space here, painting and listening to the sound of the birds chirping away all around you? It could also be used to accommodate quests when they come for a visit at your home!

Logs are a fabulous building material as well, being highly sustainable, they make for a very environmentally friendly choice when it comes to home building. Most logs from companies these days, must come from certified sustainable tree plantations where they closely monitor the use of the trees and replant them as needed. The other great thing about log building, is that the structures made with them last for a very long time if taken care of well.

But what about price? We did say this was going to be shockingly in-expensive... well, the price on this little beauty is only 3,599.00 (which equals about $5,000 USD). This works as gym, office, study, guest room, garage... for this price it's pretty hard to go wrong with all the different roles this nice little cabin could play.

SMALLER homes do not have to make everything else seem tighter and cramped for the residents. As a matter of fact they - like casitas and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) -provide more benefits compared to bigger houses.

One of the most important things to consider in buying a house is the size: the bigger, the costlier to maintain. But a smaller home, which requires a smaller portion of the lot, cuts your expenses in half and also leaves a bigger space that can be used for other purposes.

A smaller house also requires less power consumption, which means fewer lighting units and other electrical fixtures. There is also less worry on wasted space as cleaning becomes a lot easier; use of the vacuum cleaner and water is minimized, saving you money, time and effort.

Unsurprisingly, a smaller home will always lack that much needed space. But, this does not have to affect comfort and privacy. You can always change the scenery in and around your house no matter how big or small it is. And you don't even need the expertise of an interior designer to do it for you. All it takes is some creativity to make your little abode look and feel much bigger than it actually is.
