700 Sq. Ft. Historic Tiny Cottage

Here is a darling little house on the Tiny House Talk website. The house is a 700 Sq. Ft. Historic Tiny Cottage, called the 'Doll House' by all of the residents of the town where it is situated, Plymouth, New Hampshire. The name surely suits the house, that was build in 1920, it really does look like a perfect little life sized doll house indeed. The photos could have you fooled that it is actually a doll house of you didn't know that it was a full sized house.

There is plenty of room in this smaller home, especially when you compare it to other tiny homes that cane be as small as 100 square feet only! This one is about the size of an apartment, which is more than enough room for a vacation rental, since a hotel room is even smaller than that anyway. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the little cute home, one has a double bed and the other has two single beds. Each of the rooms in the house is decorated to be similar to the original decor, and they have tried to restore it as much as possible. I think they have done a wonderful job of it too!

The kitchen has everything you need and more, a stove, fridge, and all of the utensils, cookware and dishes you need to make lovely meals at home. There is a beautiful little porch area with chairs, even a perfect swing and a rocking chair, this place couldn't get any more darling! The property is surrounded by gorgeous tall trees that would make it feel even more lovely, having all the birds chirping around you throughout the day. Possibly the crickets chirping at night. This seems like the perfect place for a summer or winter vacation.

So many older properties are getting face lifts like this one, and it is truly a wonderful thing to see happening. With all of the new buildings going up all the time, its great to see that there are still some older ones that are left standing and that people take care of these classics. They are not just buildings, but pieces of history that deserve the time and patience it takes to keep them alive and well. Would you ever like to have a stay at the dollhouse?
