Best Dish Soap for Grease
A traditional eclair is prepared by making a choux dough then filling it with cream and topping it with icing. The filling can be whipped cream, custard, pudding, or chiboust cream. The icing can be chocolate or caramel to name a couple flavors. This is a light, fluffy, creamy sensational dessert. The dessert recipe we are sharing today is called the Graham Cracker Eclair Cake. We have all heard of lazy cabbage rolls, where you don't do the actual rolling of the rolls but get the same flavor.
This is sort of a lazy eclair where you will get a similar flavor without going to the work and time involved in baking an eclair.
This recipe is by Kraft and is using those shortcuts that the ladies in the 1960's came to enjoy such as cool whip and instant pudding along with pre-made chocolate frosting.
There is no doubt this will be a tasty treat and for those that use cool whip you can go ahead just as it is.
Cool whip is not for everyone but don't let that stop you from making this dessert. You can always substitute stabilized whipped cream in the recipe and we are going to give you the ingredients and instructions to do this.
The recipe calls for 8 ounces (2 cups of cool whip)
Here is a recipe for stabilized whipped cream for those that want to use it as a substitute.
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin, 4 teaspoons cold water,1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Using a small saucepan, combine the gelatin in the cold water. Place over low heat, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool but not set. Whip the cream and confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form, add the gelatin, whip until stiff peaks form. (Makes about 2 cups)
Washing your grease covered dishes can be a hard job, but with the right tools and the right dish soap, you will be able to get all of the grease off of your dishes and leave them sparkling clean to use again.
The best dish soap for grease is usually a tough grease fighting soap like Dawn dish soap. Dawn has often been called the best dish soap for grease and they have put a lot of work into refining their product so it really cuts through oils. They also have helped out in wildlife rescue when there are oil spills in lakes and other bodies of water, and found that their dish soap is the best dish soap for grease that has gotten on the wings of the birds. The Dawn dish soap does really well at lifting the oil slicks from the feathers of birds, and so it will also be a wonderful soap to use when taking the grease off of any dish you need to wash. You can use the best dish soap for grease, but without some nice, clean, hot water, your dishes will still tend to come out a bit greasy. So make sure that while you are washing your dishes, you use the hottest water possible to clean them. Soaking the dishes with some dish soap also helps to loosen the crust and great from the dishes.
